Trust Me is a work of fiction in the romance, contemporary and interpersonal drama sub-genres, and was penned by author G. P. Gadbois. Written as the second novel in the A Moment In Time series, the work is recommended for mature audiences as it does contain scenes of a sexual nature and some violent moments. In this new novel, we find ourselves following the relationship between Suzanne and Bill. Whilst Suzanne gets a lot of help and support from her female friends, Bill isn’t sure about taking up with Suzanne again after their first try at a relationship. Their second chance at love presents a lot of challenges that might break them up all over again.
Author G. P. Gadbois has crafted an eventful romance novel that will certainly keep readers on their toes and delivers plenty of high drama and emotional highlights for fans of the contemporary romance genre. One of the things which I liked most about the novel was its dialogue, not only between the central pair but between Suzanne and her friends. As the drama unfolds, the language used gives us a lot of emotional insight into the characters which makes them more relatable and endearing to root for. I also felt that the dramatic elements of the plot were well-paced and presented some realistic and relatable challenges for the couple to overcome. Overall, I would recommend Trust Me for fans of the existing series, but also a standalone read for newcomers who want an enjoyable and dramatic romance to dive into.
