Did you know that before they went extinct, dinosaurs were some of the leading apex predators on Earth, pretty much top of the food chain? How much do you really know about them? This is your chance to expand your knowledge about these magnificent creatures with Wild About Dinosaurs! In this fun-filled picture book, Mike Crowder presents some interesting facts about the various dinosaurs that roamed the planet for millions of years. Featuring colorful illustrations, the book covers the different types of dinosaurs, their lifestyles in the environment, and the period they lived in. Learn about the Gojirasaurus, one of the largest theropods of its time, so different from the Jainosaurus, which was 59 feet long and weighed a whopping 33-thousand pounds, yet was a herbivore. Then there's the Ornithocheirus, bigger than any modern bird, and there are many more.
Dinosaurs were a diverse bunch of reptiles. While many of them were carnivores, others preferred a primarily plant-based diet. Wild About Dinosaurs! explores their distinctive habits, features, and abilities, showing why they are still considered to be some of the most extraordinary creatures to have walked on this planet. The book also features some prehistoric beasts that many people might mistakenly identify as dinosaurs. Author Mike Crowder infuses a lot of charm into the narrative with his humorous accounts of dinosaur habits and lifestyles. Additionally, the eye-catching illustrations by the author will be a hit among kids. I can't think of a better way to teach children about dinosaurs than a book like this. It's fun, engaging, educational, and informative in equal measure. Young readers should not miss out on this picture book. I highly recommend it!
