True Indigo: A Tipsy Collins Novel is a work of fiction in the mystery, paranormal, and adventure subgenres, and this novel forms the last in the current series. It is suitable for the general adult reading audience and was penned by author Stephanie Alexander. We return to find Tipsy, a beloved clairvoyant artist, enjoying a fulfilling life with her family and her fiancé, psychiatrist Scott Brandt. However, her supernatural roommate, Henry Mott, is struggling. His discontent grows, and his temper spirals out of control. As his mental state deteriorates, he threatens the harmony of Tipsy's life. In the midst of this turmoil, unexplainable events occur, leading Tipsy to explore her supernatural abilities and uncover hidden memories. She reconnects with old friends, navigates the challenges of family blending, and continues her journey of personal growth.
Author Stephanie Alexander's writing creates a charming and engaging narrative that delves into the complexities of human relationships and the supernatural world. Reading this book was like reuniting with old friends and embarking on a last adventure with them after so many interesting twists and turns. Something I particularly liked about this novel was its sense of callback as Tipsy deepens her understanding of her own journey and how far she’s come, which was really heartwarming to admire alongside the thrilling mystery plot. Overall, True Indigo is the fourth and final installment of the Tipsy Collins series, and it beautifully wraps up the character's journeys with a blend of paranormal intrigue and life lessons. I would highly recommend it to fans of the series, and the series in general to readers seeking accomplished mystery novels with a lot of heart.
