The Stone Gate by Mark Mann is a wonderful, unique book about twins Kaya and Jack who were thrown into an unexpected adventure after going to see a mysterious stone gate with friends. They traveled into different worlds, trying their best to survive and find their way home again. If you are into action and adventure and looking for something new, this is definitely the book for you! This will appeal to young adventurers. The book also gives a wonderful new take on the environmental problems of our world today and would definitely appeal to environmentalists and nature-lovers.

It’s impressive how the adventure of two lost people can teach you so much. Readers will be able to see our world from a different view and a different possible future. Kaya and Jack came from the world of now, the internet, the high tech gadgets, and with global warming nothing more than a worry at the back of their minds. The worlds they passed through would definitely open your eyes to the glaring differences of the traveled worlds and dimensions to ours. It will show you what the world was like before and after the evolution of technology and the possible effects.

Aside from that, I would have loved to get to know the twins a bit more before they were thrown into their adventure, like how did they live their lives before they were thrown into another world? Still, this could not have been a quick book to write, and this obviously required a great deal of passion for the story, patience, and research to complete. This is definitely a book worth reading!
