Imagination is a wonderful thing. You can make up so many fantasy worlds and lives and have a lot of fun creating a vision of costumes and all kinds of magical tools. Why not be a princess for a day (or two) and enjoy the colorful display of wardrobe and setting? Or, join along in the adventure and color your own adventure – making it just the way you want it to be. You can slide down the far end of a rainbow, or be the captain of your own pirate ship. Or how about playing with dolphins or a little pony? Or, make beautiful music with all kinds of fun instruments?
Vova Kirichenko’s coloring book, Princess Land, is a fun way to get a young girl’s imagination to take flight. Each page is a new world for the creative young person to color and expand their imagination. The images are simple and easily invite young artists to explore the wide realms of possibilities. There is no limit to coloring possibilities and each finished page will be unique to the young person who colored it. The images also allow young artists to weave their own stories and imagine what the princess is doing – dancing, singing, playing with dolphins, commanding a pirate ship, or exploring the northern winters. The young artist could even imagine being the caring nurse who looks after injured and sick animals with love and care. Or a witch on Halloween – but, of course, she’d have to be a good witch, just as long as she got lots of candy. This is a fun book for creative young minds.
