Learning new things is instrumental for children as they grow. While they are still young, there are only a few things they are capable of learning yet the ability to learn is still important. One of the simple things that parents can teach their very young children is shapes and that’s exactly what My Turn to Learn Shapes is all about. This book is great for introducing a very young child to shapes. It will show them what those shapes look like and also what the words are.
Natalie Marshall has created a book that will help young children to recognize the different shapes that they will see around their world as they continue to grow. This book will also help them to recognize the words for each of the shapes that they have seen for such a long time and never really understood before.
The images are perfect for young children because they are brightly colored. The animals pictured on every page help keep any young child interested. It is also great that this book is made of heavy board so that young children can go through the pages themselves without parents having to worry about ripped pages. As your child gets older they’ll also be able to practise reading these words themselves because they are printed large enough for young eyes. I was pleased with My Turn to Learn Shapes, the bright colors, and the cute pictures and think it’s a great book for any young child.
