Author Biography

Rebecca's novels, and her upcoming self-help books for women, are built on her beliefs that women can be sexy and smart, and feminine and powerful, without contradiction. Consequently, her books encourage women to pursue what they want in love and life, without fear or apology.

Rebecca grew up believing that women could be as successful as men in all walks of life. Upon moving to Miami after college, she was able to test out her theory when she found herself competing for better position and pay in the male-dominated world of banking. She realized she needed to work twice as hard as a man to achieve the same status, but also realized she did not need to relinquish her femininity to compete. She found that success could be achieved through hard work, quantifiable results, and confidence in one's own capabilities.

With nothing left to burn and nothing left to prove, Rebecca retired shortly after marrying Jason, her husband of what is now 27 years. She pursued her lifelong interests in writing, art and dance. She wrote a romance-advice column, learned to paint, and dusted off her ballet slippers before she began writing novels.

MORAL INFIDELITY is Rebecca Warner's first novel, which won Top Ten Honorable Mention in the 2015 Great Southeast Book Festival, and the 2015 Readers' Favorite Bronze Award in the Fiction:Thriller General category. She followed that with DOUBLING BACK TO LOVE, which was selected for inclusion in the romantic anthology, Peace, Love, & Romance. Moral Infidelity by Rebecca Warner takes on the controversial topic of abortion and a woman’s right to her own body. Governor Michael Romano is on the verge of changing the laws of the State of Florida by bringing forth an abortion law. He starts his campaign for an anti-abortion law and things are going from good to great. Happy with his marriage and his wife, he is finally satisfied with his career as well. But things are not as peaceful as it seems. When a beautiful supporter comes knocking on his door, he cannot help but fall for her charms and seduction.

Their affair takes a nasty turn when Kristin Long (the supporter seductress) becomes pregnant and is happy beyond measure to have him and his baby. But this situation is suicide for his career and seventeen years of marriage. When push comes to shove, Kristin promises to ruin his life and his career if he does not do what she wishes. Now Romano is faced with a battle between what is right and what is wrong. One wrong step can destroy his political career while his other steps can destroy his marriage and his love. What will he do?

Rebecca Warner perfectly executed a controversial topic by not forcing opinions, giving life to her characters and letting them speak for themselves. She masterfully wrote dialogues that are complete, understandable and perfect. Nothing is left out, and the reader understands what is happening. The reader is thoroughly invested in the story. A good novel that deserves to be read again! Amazingly written.

The author has cleverly highlighted the prolife v abortion issue of our time and masterfully weaves it into an intriguing story of power, love, lust and, ultimately, justice. Warner develops her characters, allowing them to undermine themselves with their own flaws, and then refuses to save them from themselves. The twists and turns of the story are totally unpredictable. The style is clear, crisp and imaginative, and the short concise chapters make for a fast-paced narrative. You won't want to put this book down until you reach the very end. After that you will be thinking about the characters and their choices for quite some time.

Despite having a beautiful, loving wife, wealthy pro-life Governor Michael Romano can't resist the temptations of a gorgeous, sexy supporter. He must see her, he must have her, no matter his guilt or the lies he tells to rendezvous with her.

But things get out of hand. His mistress is overjoyed to find she is pregnant. Will the baby bring the governor his own joy, or have have him react in a way he never anticipated?

This novel intelligently covers the controversial issue of abortion. Its descriptive settings in Florida, from Tallahassee to Miami, are spot on. And mixed in with the governor's life is the life of Jake Miller, a former NYPD cop on a mission to find the twin sister separated from him through adoption.

Nothing in this page-turning novel is arbitrary. There are many twists and turns. Every character and the choices that they make ring true. This is a book that will appeal to both men and women. It doesn't disappoint, and I gladly give it five stars.

I finished Moral Infidelity last night but woke up this morning thinking about it. The issues and characters stay with you. It’s a book that makes you think about choice like you’ve never thought of before. There’s the issue of a woman’s right to choose what to do with her own body. Then there’s the issue of the choice Governor MichaelRomano makes to get involved in an affair in the first place, and then the choices hemakes when his mistress gets pregnant. The author has done a lot of good research that ties into how these choices are made. I don’t usually read books that fast, but this book was really well written and I wanted to keep reading it because it had one after another intriguing plot twists. Not until the very end do we know how the choices the Governor makes really affecthis life and the lives of everyone around him. I’ll come back to this book and read it again in the future, because I read it so fast to find out what happened next that I didn’t absorb all the interesting information written on topics like politics and religion and how those two issues, that should be kept separate have combined to bring us to this point in 2014 when the topic of abortion is discussed with passion onboth sides daily in the media. Even though it is set in 1989 it is a very timely book that has helped me to understand why and how we got to this point of such contention.

Rebecca Warner asks some probing questions in her novel, Moral Infidelity, as Florida Governor Michael Romano tries to change the abortion laws in the state to reflect his own pro-life stance, but struggles with his own demons when his mistress ends up pregnant. This is a poignant and politically charged novel full of intrigue that stays with you long after you turn the last page. I enjoy Rebecca's personal style of writing, her descriptions and character building are first rate. If you like political suspense and a book that makes you think, don't miss this one!

I received my copy of Moral Infidelity on Wednesday and jumped right in...Although the story is set in 1989 it is so relevant, Abortion continues to be such a personal issue and this novel brings both sides to life leaving the reader struggling along with the protagonist as to how to proceed.. I could not put it down..a must read!

Author Rebecca Warner has a home run hit right out of the box! It had been months since a novel got my attention. I could not put this book down from the very beginning. Warner not only did her homework about the political arena about Roe vs Wade but the background stories of Michael Romano and other characters, my favorite Jake will keep you reading until the very end. So many twist and turns that even I could not figure out, kept me guessing until the very end. A sexy well written novel, filled with drama and intrigue. Well done! Looking forward to more books from this Author!

Rebecca Warner’s Moral Infidelity combines romance, scandal, and mystery! As I read this cleverly-crafted novel, I hoped I would never reach the end. Moral Infidelity is not only a brilliant page-turner, but it also illustrates the author’s passion and dedication on the abortion issue. I was able to view both perspectives (Pro-Life and Pro-Choice), as the author chose an unbiased stance.

Personally, I’m Pro-Life, but I thoroughly enjoyed the neutral tone. Moral Infidelity is a smart novel, clearly backed by solid research. After reading the novel I felt educated—not lectured. As you read Moral Infidelity, you will become engulfed in the lives of the characters, their emotions, and the unrelenting twists and turns! Moral Infidelity is smart; it has everything I want in a book: imagination, intelligence, love, drama, and even light-hearted moments of relief. Plus, Moral Infidelity‘s vivid descriptions of Florida makes me want to visit the Sunshine State.

This novel can be enjoyed by all adults regardless of age, sex, religious background, or political affiliation. Moral Infidelity is an eye-opener—what would you do when your morals may lead to your destruction? I can only hope this will be made into a movie!

I opened this book and read the first page, then the second, then the third...I didn’t want to put it down. Usually a slow reader, I finished it in record time. What a compelling story. The author, Ms. Warner, has done her research and applied her sharp mind and creativity to the impeccable development of the characters, theme and plot. It was fascinating to observe the actions of the characters and how they made their decisions. Ms. Warner has effectively shown how thoughts and actions lead to results that may touch and affect others in ways we may never imagine. It makes you think. I would recommend this book to anyone. Don’t be afraid of the abortion issue; this is a book for anyone, anywhere along the range of abortion opinions. Skillfully done!

A captivating story revealing the depths of despair Michael Romano faces when he mixes pleasure and responsibility and ends up with pain and desperation. Romano delves into a relationship with another woman which forces him to change his way of thinking and totally ruins his privileged life of comfort. His wife finds a way to punish him, and it makes her think twice about what she values in her own life. They are forced to confront each other about their issues and decide what is most important to them. It is a truly well written story and has a valuable message for the reader. You won't want to put the book down.
