He lives in both Northern and Southern California while constantly traveling to Orange County to visit his son, who can now beat his father at ping pong and chess rather easily (and is charmingly arrogant while doing it). A graduate of UC Irvine and Pepperdine University, Sidney wishes he chose at least one university to attend that had a college football team to root for.
The first scene Sidney thought of for Jennifer Ainsley: The Final Demon War included a rather large massacre (take that for what it is worth). However, inspired by the works of Stephen King, Dean Koontz and Clive Barker; the book's violence is offset by dark humor and deep human emotion just like in real life where Sidney's darkness is offset by creatively placed sarcasm and an overwrought romanticism. For example, while Jennifer Ainsley: The Final Demon War is a Fantasy-Horror novel, Sidney also still tears up at the end of both Field of Dreams and An Officer and a Gentleman.

Jennifer Ainsley: The Final Demon War by Sidney Stone is about Jennifer Ainsley who is the Chosen One that can wield the Sword of Jesus, the only sure way to kill the demons waging war against humans. Mordock tells of how the demons came to hate humans and why they are waging war against the human race. Jonathon talks about love and redemption while working on turning the tables on the demons so that his soul can be saved; all the while adding more to Mordock's story and filling in more gaps about the who's, how's, and why's. Andrew and Jennifer tell their stories of loss and despair while they fall in love with each other and start to fight back against Mordock and his demon hordes. Other characters narrate for a bit and continue filling in gaps left by the others.
Jennifer Ainsley: The Final Demon War by Sidney Stone is well written with a new twist on a plot that has already been done once or twice. Sidney Stone throws in a new religious aspect that made me wonder if maybe that is how things really are in the world. Jennifer Ainsley: The Final Demon War is an enjoyable read and at times is very hard to put down. Details and scenery are described in enough detail that I could see it in my mind's eye, even the slightly graphic ones that involved demons slaughtering humans. I hope that Jennifer's story is continued in a second book as I would like to see how her story ends.
