The "Master of all Evil", who is also the "Queen of Nations", never imagined ruling the world would be so boring. Conquering it was definitely fun with all the killing, torture, and imprisonment she inflicted on many innocent souls, but all she is left with is tiring responsibilities. Eventually, she embarks on a new quest of attempting to be good instead of evil. However, this task proves to be more difficult than anything she has ever done as she denies herself the pleasure of watching people suffer. To guide her on her challenging quest is a man who was once a great prince and one of her victims. Will the evil witch succeed in doing good or return to her beloved evil nature? Find out in Witch'n by Joshua Braun.

With an ingenious blend of dark humor and fantasy, Witch'n grabs the reader and holds their attention from start to finish. I couldn't put it down as I was arrested by the protagonist's energetic personality and her unbelievable evilness. It's nothing like I've seen before. From the demonic names that cannot be pronounced with the human tongue to magic powerful enough to make people walk upside down and the witch carving mountains to look like her, prepare for a wild, dark, different, and memorable experience! Joshua Braun goes beyond the surface to expose some deep ideas, like how magic is wonderful to many people but the ordinary is magical to someone who has used magic throughout their lifetime; this calls me to appreciate the "ordinary" things in life I take for granted. If you enjoy dark humor and creative fantasy, don't hesitate to read Witch'n!

Witch’n is a work of fiction in the fantasy, humor, and interpersonal drama sub-genres, and was penned by author Joshua Braun. The work is intended for the general adult reading audience and contains some references to sex and sexual situations, as well as the occasional use of explicit language. The central storyline follows a witch who gives up her life managing the forces of darkness and teams up with her arch-nemesis to form an unlikely alliance and transform her wicked ways to those of the truly good. What results is a very engrossing fantasy romp adventure tale that is sure to keep a smile on readers’ faces through every chapter.

Author Joshua Braun has crafted a completely enchanting work of fiction with plenty of wit to offer readers. One of the features which I found particularly impressive about this piece was its styling, voice, and attitude, which make the author just as important as the story in a way that Sir Terry Pratchett would be proud of. I adored the character development, dynamics, and tongue-in-cheek humor, as well as the casual references to dark and wicked acts, which we’re willing to overlook as our hero improves and transforms during the tale. This all makes for a deliciously spiky book that is packed to the brim with weird and wacky situations, but ultimately also has a warm heart and a quite poignant message about what it truly means to be good. Overall, I would highly recommend Witch’n to fans of quirky comedic fantasy fiction, witty authors with compelling skill for dialogue and drama, and for readers of totally original fiction everywhere.

Witch'n is a dark comedy fantasy novel written by Joshua Braun. Honeydrops is a powerful witch who has conquered the world by using her powers for mass destruction. However, a few years of tyrannical rule leave her bored and unsatisfied with her duties of attending tedious bureaucratic tasks, causing her to renounce her evil ways. Determined to do good, she leaves her castle in search of the former prince of Ernholeim, Alteem, and seeks his help in becoming a better witch. Initially skeptical of her intentions, Alteem and his wife Alma, alongside their son Matthew, eventually open themselves to Honey and teach her valuable lessons in morality. As the world plunges into chaos, the four of them set out to rectify Honey's past mistakes. Will Honey find her salvation?

If you enjoyed the premise of the movie Megamind, you're going to love Witch'n. Complemented by colorful characters and dark humor, Joshua Braun's novel never fails to entertain. Honey is a delightfully twisted antagonist who becomes the center of attention in every scene that she is in. Her relationship dynamic with Alteem and his family and her continuous struggle to become a better person felt like the book's highlights for me. Every scene involving Honey is laced with sarcastic wit and humor. The narrative is well-paced, and Joshua Braun doesn't waste much time in introducing the major characters and eases the reader into the world seamlessly. Witch'n is an entertaining novel which I will recommend to readers who love fantasy books containing dark humor.

Divine Zape

Witch'n by Joshua Braun explores a wicked witch’s journey to embracing goodness. Honeydrops has been known as the scourge of the world, the swallower of nations, and the destroyer of empires, and one of those who have suffered most from her dark magic is Alteem, the last prince of Ernloheim. She has had the privilege of imprisoning the prince and torturing him. But now, Honey wants to be on the good side of history. She is tired of destroying worlds and bringing despair and hopelessness to the land. She wants to be good, so she goes to the only person who represents justice and goodness, the prince, who is now a professor. But Alteem will not just take her word for it. Can she prove that she really wants to change? Follow this enthralling tale filled with twists and surprises, a story that builds up in tension to a surprisingly delightful denouement.

Witch'n is a unique story of a witch who wants to become good, and in this aspect the story is original. Joshua Braun creates a despicable character in Honey, a woman trained by her mother to summon demons, flay people alive, sacrifice living things in her quest for power, and destroy things on her path, and then puts in her the desire to transform into a caring person ready to use her powers to do good. The biggest conflict in this novel happens within Honey’s personal struggle for positive change. It is an uphill task and readers watch breathlessly, hoping against all hope that she might succeed. While this is a tale of fantasy, it has many lessons about change and the power of forgiveness. Alteem is a character that I loved from the moment I encountered him and he represents virtue. Witch'n features elaborately developed characters and fascinating world-building. The dialogues are well-written and the author’s meticulous care for plot elements infuses the story with great entertainment.

Witch'n by Joshua Braun is an intriguing story that follows an evil witch on an unusual journey to becoming a good person. Honeydrops “Honey” has been the scorch of Ernloheim, sowing darkness and death in her wake and leaving the land littered with the bones of heroes and monsters. She has been brought up to be one of the most powerful witches and destruction has been her essence. But then when she decides that it is enough and wants to be a good person, she goes to her nemesis, the last prince of Ernloheim, the same person she had tortured and whose people she had eradicated. Having lost everything, Alteem lives as a teacher, but can he forgive Honey for the evil she has done, and what are the chances that she can really become someone good?

This is an emotionally rich story that explores magic and strong human values and emotions, especially the power of forgiveness. I liked to follow the key characters, Alteem and Honey, on this odyssey of her transformation and while other people like Ulwazi are wary about the witch’s intentions, readers invariably find themselves rooting for Honey, hoping against all hope that she can change. Alteem is the epitome of goodness and forgiveness and as readers follow him, they begin to appreciate the healing power of forgiveness. Instead of taking revenge against the woman who has made him suffer so much loss, Alteem feels compassion, even pity for her. Witch'n is well-plotted and the pacing is fast; there are twists that I didn’t see coming and the unpredictability in plot development makes the story a page-turning read. The descriptions are vivid and strong and from the very beginning, the reader is presented with horrifying images of the aftermath of evil magic. Joshua Braun’s novel is intelligently plotted and superbly executed, a gripping tale with lessons on handling those who have hurt us the most.
