Wild Ideas: Creativity From the Inside Out by Cathy Wild is a self-help book for artists and non-artists alike. If you enjoy creativity or if you are a creative person striving to break through, this book will help you with that. From concept to creation, Cathy Wild’s words will help you find the creativity within yourself and let all of it out in any way possible. What I really loved about this book is that Cathy Wild did not limit her words and her advice to one kind of artist and art. These tips can be applied to any form of creativity and art.
Cathy describes her own journey, guiding artists through the seven stages of the creative process, engaging their minds so that their ideas actually come to fruition. What is amazing about Wild Ideas is that it will help the reader with finding themselves and feeling stress-free and happy! The creative process is described very easily and her words just click with you. You don’t have to try hard to understand what she is saying because her words are simple and easy to comprehend. Cathy Wild talks about her own journey in a way that makes this book personal and you can easily relate to her. I liked the fact that I can apply this advice to my writing because the creative process is the same for every artist, regardless of the fact that the artist paints or writes or develops. In so few words, Cathy will give you so many ideas and the hope that you can actually do it. It is a complete and entertaining way to engage the mind of an artist. And the cover is really cool!
