The Three Witches and The Three-Headed Dagger is a work of fiction in the fantasy, action, and paranormal adventure sub-genres, and was penned by author Henry Regnault. The work is intended for the adult and young adult reading audiences and is the opening novel to an ongoing series. Our protagonist is Cadence Mage, a centuries-old immortal who battles and hunts demons. The story concerns the mystery of the titular three-headed dagger, and a series of grisly murders that will put even Cadence’s considerable skills to the test. What results is a riveting, bloody, and action-packed fantasy tale that is sure to keep readers turning pages from cover to cover.

Author Henry Regnault has crafted an immersive work of fiction with plenty of cinematic and imaginative action to offer readers. The author creates a vivid fantasy world with excellent magical lore, a variety of strong personalities and settings, with acute attention to detail in their atmospheric language. These lexical and descriptive choices also show Cadence as a powerful central figure, who is well balanced in terms of his admirable and exciting skills, but also show vulnerability and emotional presentation. As a reader, you can really get into his head and experience the story from a visceral standpoint, which makes you more involved in the fast-paced twists and turns of the winding plot and interpersonal character relationships. Overall, I would highly recommend The Three Witches and The Three-Headed Dagger to fans of engrossing writing, fast-paced action plots, and for fantasy adventure fans everywhere.

In The Three Witches and the Three-headed Dagger, author Henry Regnault brings us the story of Cadence Mage. Born over 200 years ago, Cadence is a demon hunter in the dream world. As an attractive man, he never lacks the attention of younger women. But it is the women from his past that want to harm him this time. There has been a murder in Las Vegas that involved a unique-looking dagger. Cadence has to figure out what the purpose of the dagger is and why the witches are after him. In the midst of it all, he has to protect his niece, Jenny, and share with her the family legacy. Will Cadence be able to save the lives of those he loves while making sense of his new abilities? Will he find out who the blue-purple flame is?

The Three Witches and the Three-headed Dagger is recommended for young adults and does contain instances of expletive language. There is also more mature content contained in these pages. Great emphasis is placed on the descriptions of specific scenes by primarily focusing on what is heard. The plot is dark, so if you are into horror, I suggest this book. The protagonist is a likable guy. He finds humor in situations that aggravate and irritate others, mainly because he is the cause. As this book is part of a series, be assured that the end is not necessarily the complete end. More is coming from Henry Regnault...

The Three Witches and The Three-Headed Dagger is a dark fantasy thriller by Henry Regnault. With over two hundred years on Earth as an immortal demon hunter, Cadence Mage is only getting stronger and stronger. But when a string of murders involving young women as victims drags him toward the search for a three-headed dagger, Cadence unwittingly finds himself embroiled in a conspiracy that goes back three hundred years. Along with the beautiful Lieutenant Anne Black, his niece Jenny, and his best friend Tom Jones, Cadence must now battle three witches and their unsuspecting allies who desperately want to bring him down. But everything is not as it seems as Cadence will soon discover that his battles can prove costly to his friends, and his lineage is a big part of his destiny.

An action-packed fantasy saga that provides thrills galore, The Three Witches and The Three-Headed Dagger is a wild ride full of surprising twists and turns. Author Henry Regnault weaves a fast-paced yarn filled with demons, witches, and magic that will keep you on the edge of your seat for the duration of the story. What makes this book a page-turner are the scintillating action sequences and reveals that never let your attention wander even for a single moment. The characters have distinct personalities, but this is primarily a plot-driven book, where most of them act as tools to take the narrative forward. I very much enjoyed the book and recommend it to fantasy fans who love action-oriented stories.

In The Three Witches and the Three-Headed Dagger by Henry Regnault, Cadence Mage runs a store with his orphaned niece, hiding his secret abilities from her. As young women are murdered, and evil witches draw closer, Cadence is forced to tell his niece about his immortality and the possibility that she will inherit the demon-slaying powers he and his brother possess. With the help of an old flame and an attractive police lieutenant, Cadence searches for the person who controls a dagger called the Eyes for the Souls before it is filled with the blood of young women. Once the dagger is filled with blood, it will release something so powerful that it will test the bounds of Cadence’s immortality.

The Three Witches and the Three-Headed Dagger is a fast-paced story that will transport readers into an unbelievable set of events in a realistic setting. Henry Regnault reveals a twisted world of demons and witches that will simultaneously frighten and intrigue his readers. The storyline was developed well. Some word repetitions were present, and parts of the story read like a screenplay, but the scenes shifted quickly, keeping the reader engaged in the action. Henry Regnault provided the backstory for most of his characters so the reader would feel a connection to them. I enjoyed the gentle twist at the end, and I felt the author was consistent with the actions of his characters. I recommend the book to experienced readers, as there are some graphically mature scenes involving blood, gore, and sex.
