The Secret of Plants in the Environment is a work of non-fiction that is focused on nature and environmental issues and was penned by author Rishikesh Upadhyay. Focused on aiding those who are working in, studying in, or aspire to know more about environmental science, this book specifically focuses on the stresses and conditions which plants have to face in our environment. The work explores both the positive and negative effects that challenges, change, and stress can have on different types of plants, and it also considers how this can affect high crop yields and plant adaptation in natural environments.
Rishikesh Upadhyay has created a very useful and detailed volume that is sure to be a go-to resource for anyone studying plants and environmental change. One of the things I most admired about the book was its dedication to giving full and clear explanations, so much so that even I, with no technical knowledge of environmental factors, could follow the work well and understand the different instances and effects which were being explained. Rishikesh Upadhyay writes with professional quality but in an accessible style that is not over-heavy on jargon. I also felt that the organization of the work built up from simpler ideas into complex points and wider implications really well. Overall, I would highly recommend The Secret of Plants in the Environment to anyone and everyone involved in the study of environmental science as well as those who aspire to do so in the future.
