Cat Enright was a horse trainer with a big heart. Darcy, Bubba, Bob, Gigi, Agnes, Hank, Sally, and others can testify to her selfless nature. She attended Shayne’s horse clinic and entered a trail competition with her alleged psychic horse, Sally. This fun event happened on the McLaughlin farm, but things were about to change. Cat met the very annoying Burdo on the farm. He made dry jokes, got on everyone’s nerves, and she couldn’t stay far enough away from him. When Burdo’s horse, Dash, came galloping back with frightened eyes, Cat knew something was wrong. She found his corpse. Someone had murdered Burdo, but who did it? Many people had motives, and Cat’s life was on the line. So expect the unexpected in Rein Equation by Lisa Wysocky.
Rein Equation by Lisa Wysocky is a captivating novel perfect for lovers of mystery, suspense, and equestrian stories. I loved everything about this book, from the plot to the storyline and character development. The conversational method of narrating the story also had me engrossed from the beginning until the end. This novel reiterated how animals are so wise. Animals cannot speak, but they perceive auras and connect with energies. Pay attention and pick their messages. I loved the horse tips and got to learn more about these loving animals. Lisa’s knowledge of and love for horses were contagious. I loved Bubba and his funny phrases, while Shayne reminded me of celebrities who put up a glamorous front when there are only ashes behind the scenes. The ending of this story was bittersweet but satisfactory. Great job, Lisa.
