Most people know the famous tale of the Earp Brothers and the gunfight in Tombstone. Most have also heard of their friend Doc Holliday, the rough and tough gambler and ladies’ man, known to be deadly with his pistols. But what if there was more to Doc Holiday than met the eye? You've heard the expression, "Don't judge a book by its cover." Did Doc Holiday have a sensitive side to him? Was he once the gentleman his words and body language sometimes portrayed him to be? As a sick man, what if he wrote his true thoughts to a lost love before perishing? Come and visit the intriguing side of John Henry (Doc) Holliday that will both surprise you and melt your heart.
The Love Letter of John Henry Holliday is written by Mary Fancher. The book introduces readers to the unknown side of the famous Tombstone gunfighter, Doc Holliday. It also gives readers a vivid description of what the habits, lifestyle, living quarters, business establishments and people were like during the life of Mr. John Henry Holliday. The author tops it off with a very controversial but interesting view of one of the most famous "cowboys" of his day. It is not often you read of the rough and tough gambler being a soft, sensitive and well educated man. This makes the story very appealing and marketable. The Love Letter of John Henry Holliday is a book for all who are interested in learning more about the pre-Tombstone life of Doc Holiday. Readers who love historical fiction and romance will thoroughly enjoy reading this fantastic story. I absolutely loved this book.
