Harri’s life wasn’t perfect, but it was going well. The loss of her husband was slowly becoming bearable. Her life was starting to move on when one night and one man stole that away from her. She’s now a shell of what she was. Trapped in her home and unable to escape it or the terrifying ordeal she’s gone through, Harri’s only comfort is her cat and the wonderful neighbors she’s slowly come to trust as well. But all she can think about now is joining her beloved husband, and leaving behind the pain that is all she has in The Diary of Harri Foxx by Sue Lloyd.
Harriet is a character you feel you can relate to. She’s interesting right from the start, but she’s also damaged in some way that the reader wants to learn more about. When you do, it seems like everything about her makes sense and you really feel torn between wanting her to escape her pain and wanting her to overcome it. This is the type of book that I would definitely recommend because Harriet is someone who could easily be anyone at all. With something as horrible as what she went through, it’s entirely possible that readers can relate to her and that’s why she’s someone readers would want to read about. This is a book you won't soon forget and Harriet, as well as her friends, are characters you won't soon forget either in The Diary of Harri Foxx by Sue Lloyd.
