Rage, book three of The Lit Series by Mark Anthony, brings readers into the worlds of Ellie, Sam, and Josh. Things are torn apart as terrifying monsters break through the barriers between their world and the human realm. These three characters are known as Conduits and are connected to the horrors, leading the trio to face some very impossible choices all while trying to survive. Betrayal and loss threaten to destroy them when they end up discovering that these monsters have been setting traps all along. There are creatures such as the Dark Child and other sinister figures, like Chelamah and Bael, that create a dramatic showdown. Ellie, Sam, and Josh find themselves having to fight for their lives and their humanity.
Rage is a gripping, fast-paced horror story filled with all kinds of twists, scares, and moments readers will not soon forget. Mark Anthony does a great job of mixing action and suspense with each character's emotional struggles. This is definitely for fans of dark fantasy and supernatural horrors. Readers will love the vivid world, the intense scenes, and the way the characters grow and change through their battles. There is much to love about each main character such as Ellie’s strength, Sam’s torment, and Josh’s quiet courage. Readers will find themselves connecting deeply with the narrative as it races toward a powerful and emotional ending. Rage is a must-read for anyone who loves stories about survival, sacrifice, and the fight between good and evil. It is not typical horror fiction and Mark Anthony has combined elements of fantasy and thriller in a well-crafted novel.
