The book explains the importance of speaking one’s mind without fear and confronting issues head-on, and gives keys to unlock one’s personal style of dealing with verbal aggression that causes fear. The tips will enable readers to learn the charm of confrontation, which will see them earning the respect of family, friends, coworkers, and also of those who don’t know them well.
I found the topic very original and unique, and the tips and suggestions are interesting, simple, and easy to understand. The advice can be put into practice without much difficulty, and highlights the importance of being frank and awakens a greater understanding between people. Conflict happens and the book shows us how to have a confrontation without being argumentative or mean. The author handles the topic well; extensively and methodically helping readers relate to her words and showing them how to communicate needs and goals clearly to those with whom you are closely connected. The book is an insightful read for everyone and the benefits of confrontation will make readers examine their own behavior and start working towards being a forthright person. The suggestions will also help readers work on themselves and grow in their self-worth.
