Thanks for the Love by Melissa Baldwin is about a young woman escaping from Orlando to Miami to start a new life. Her engagement with Dustin breaks up after she finds him with her best friend Amber. The betrayal shatters Gabby Marshall’s life as she deals with the aftermath. Gabby goes to work at her sister-in-law’s real estate company and moves into a beautiful home, sharing the house with two fun and lively roommates, Reagan and Lila. Gabby is determined to focus on her career and does not want to have anything to do with men or romance until she runs into Theo, her hunky new neighbor, on the first day she arrives. After a series of misfortunes each time she encounters Theo, their chemistry tempts her to take a chance on exploring their strong connection.
Melissa Baldwin writes an engaging romantic novella that is entertaining. Thanks for the Love is a great short read to add a little excitement and romance to your day when you do not have time for a longer book. All the players are fun to read about, from Gabby’s burgeoning friendship with her roommates Lila and Reagan to her humorous chance encounters with Theo. This is the first romantic comedy in the Thankful Series, which will chronicle Reagan’s love story next. The reader gets roped into the intertwining lives of three young, ambitious, beautiful roommates with the single lives they are sharing and their adventures in friendship and love.
