Soviet Britain: Class Enemy (Volume 2) by Neil Jopson is a continuation of Blood Parade. Karl is now on the run, accused of murder and activities that put him against the Revolution. He is innocent, but he can’t prove it. He finds himself caught up in things he really doesn’t want to be a part of. In the meantime, an assassin has been sent out from Soviet Britain – will he change how history goes or will he end it forever? The story of an alternative world, a world run by communists after the war ended very differently to the ending we know of, continues as nations clash and tempers boil over.
Soviet Britain: Class Enemy by Neil Jopson is Volume 2 of the Soviet Britain trilogy. Continuing where Blood Parade left off, this second story does not disappoint. It is another fast paced story, full of action and plenty more theories about how the world could have been. Once again, Mr Jopson has proved himself to be an adept writer, with a highly descriptive style, and the strength of his characters continues to shine through. The thought processes that have gone into this must have been incredible for someone to imagine what life would have been like if things had gone so differently, to come up with such an idea. Mr Jopson continues to show us what life could be like and he continues to show us that he is an author worth of serious recognition. The series has caught me so far; I wonder if the next volume can do the same?
