In a wonderful guide filled with useful information for parents, Prescription Rx for Parenting: How to Raise Healthy Infants and Children by author Charlotte E. Thompson, M.D., readers will find a book from a trusted author with many years of experience in the field that they will be able to reference time and time again as their children are growing up. The book has a very easy to follow format divided into four user-friendly sections; those for babies and infants, toddler behavior problems, parenting preschoolers and parenting kids. Reassuring and practical information resounds in this guide, enough to quell the fears of even the most nervous of new parents, and sound enough for those more experienced as well.
I very much enjoyed Prescription Rx for Parenting: How to Raise Healthy Infants and Parents. My sons are eight and eleven now, but I certainly wish I'd had author Charlotte E. Thompson, M.D.'s guide when they were younger. As a nervous new mom, the author's reassuring advice might have gone far to quell my frequent fears that I was doing pretty much everything wrong in terms of caring for my babies. This book would be a welcome addition in the library of any parent of children from birth to school-aged, and would be an especially good gift for new parents. I highly recommend Prescription Rx for Parenting. I certainly hope that author Charlotte E. Thompson, M.D. is already hard at work on another book of this type. I, for one, will be watching for its release!
