Meet a little boy named Peo and his robot, Trinket, in the story Peo And Trinket: A Story to Wake Up Your Child's Heart by Cambraia Fonseca Fernandes. Peo lived underground with his parents and he had big round eyes and blond hair which almost looked white. Peo had a robot. His parents had bought an old one for a good price and it worked well. They painted the robot a dark lilac, a color Peo loved very much. The robot was programmed to teach and also protect and keep Peo company when his parents worked. One day Peo decided to take Trinket and go to the surface to look for things. Peo did not know the Earth's surface. He was expecting it to be like how his mother had described it to him. He was very excited as he walked up and down the streets with Trinket. They decided to take a spaceship and go on an exciting adventure in the universe.
This comic book is a fine blend of information about astronomy, spatial adventure, good values, and messages, helping children understand what is right and what is wrong, and about the Earth they live in. The illustrations are wonderful and they make the book captivating. They also help readers connect with the characters in the story. It is a good bedtime storybook that will help parents teach their children good values in a very subtle way as they read about the exciting adventures of Peo and Trinket. The book is also good for tutors and educators to use in classrooms for read-aloud and storytelling sessions to make science and astronomy more fascinating to youngsters, along with teaching them good values.
