"No One Left To Lie To: The Triangulations of William Jefferson Clinton" by Christopher Hitchens is reviewed here in its audio format.
Christopher Hitchens was notorious for his condemning assessments of well-known people. No one was off limits including Princess Diane, Mother Teresa or Henry Kissinger. In this audio book he took President William Jefferson Clinton to task. Hitchens recounts the rise of Clinton to the role of President. Along the way Clinton allegedly committed heinous crimes which he denied. In 1992 at age 46, Clinton was elected 42nd President of the United States of America. He was the second youngest President in history. Unfortunately, Despite the things Clinton accomplished he will be remembered most for the Monica Lewinski scandal. Clinton was also accused of rape by Juanita Broaddrick. Kathleen Wiley accused Clinton of assaulting her in the private study of the White House. This is just a few of the charges leveled against Clinton. He was also accused of helping Muslim Brotherhood.
Christopher Hitchens’ book was thoroughly researched. While Hitchens shares the many atrocities against women Clinton committed, he also shares much about Clinton’s political maneuvers. It is unfortunate that Clinton gave Hitchens so much ammunition. Clinton was his worst enemy. Hitchens shares it all, even the fact that Clinton called himself the first black President. Hitchens has an engaging style. While he is passionate about his work, he does not embellish upon the facts; he simply states what his research discovers. I found this book interesting and informative.
