"Never-Ending Dream" by Conny Conway took me on a journey into the hearts and minds of two special people who have never physically met, yet have been tied together mentally and spiritually as twin flames, a bond far closer than a soul mate. Paul Terrence, a Hollywood Star, and Andromarche “Andy” Hewitt, a wife and mother living in the Midwest, have shared a love on a psychic level in dreams for most of their lives. When Paul’s psychic gifts involve him in a quest to find the murderer of another prominent star, he endangers not only himself, but those he loves. Only with the help of his connection to Andy and his spirit guide, an ancient Samurai, Baba Nobufusa, can Paul hope to find the answers, give peace to the victim’s spirit, and still survive.
Conny Conway has done a marvelous job of creating a world that blends the physical realm with the spiritual. She has done her homework and it shows, drawing me into the struggles of Paul and Andy as they try to balance both worlds, often feeling I was in the moment with them! For me, the murder/mystery proved to be an excellent way to showcase the depth of their connection in this original twist on a popular genre! I enjoyed the pace, which fit perfectly with the spiritual aspects, steady, never rushed. This is a read to be enjoyed and savored, which I did!
