Never Again...No More II: Getting Back to Me by Untamed is the second book in a trilogy detailing the lives of LaMeka, Trinity, Clarice and Lucinda. LaMeka is stuck with her violent husband Tony and wants out; Lucinda is suffering from abuse at the hands of Raul and has no one to back her up; Trinity and Lucinda are both stuck in relationships they want out of. Each one of them has to make a sacrifice in order to turn things around and live a better life, but what will that sacrifice be? What will it cost them to face their fears and stare down their very worst nightmares? Follow the ladies as they travel towards the horizon, towards the changes that they must make – be they right or wrong. Will they succeed in making the decisions that need to be made or will they stay with what they know – and hate? Can they really find the courage to say Never Again...No More?
Never Again...No More II: Getting Back to Me by Untamed was an interesting read and I probably would have understood more if I had read the first one. However, reading it on its own did have its benefits because I got to make my own mind up about the characters and I must say I was impressed with the quality of the story. I struggled a little with some of the words, but on the whole, I enjoyed it. I think I would like to read all of the books together and I will be looking for more from Untamed; she does have a way with words!
