Mom's Birthday Gift (Piglet - Children's book collection 1) by Veena Gyanani is an adorable story filled with love and warmth. The book is about a little Piglet wanting to give a perfect birthday gift to his mother. He keeps wondering what to do. He wants to make breakfast for her, but then his mother goes out for breakfast. Piglet sets out to make a birthday card and then he sees the beautiful card his sister has made. What will Piglet do for his mother for her birthday?
The story is really cute and the illustrations complement the story well. They capture the adventures of Piglet nicely, making the scenes very visual and the characters come alive. Readers are pulled into the story and it will make them also wonder what to make for Piglet's mother for her birthday. The book is fun and has a intriguing element that will keep young readers glued to it. The message of love for parents is conveyed subtly through the story. Children and their love are precious and this story highlights that thought through Piglet and his love for his mother. The book is enjoyable and Piglet is a memorable character. His adventures will stay in readers' minds. The theme is not only nice but also practical, and all kids and parents can identify with the story. It's a good bedtime storybook and it can also be used for read aloud sessions in classrooms and school libraries.
