"Lest the Dew Rust Them" by Michael Drakich is a thrilling tale of a group of terrorists intended to strike fear into the American people, and a Homeland Security agent determined to find the group that call themselves the "Sword Masters." Robert Grimmson is a Homeland Security director who investigates a string of terrorist activities across New York City. A group of terrorists known as the "Sword Masters" target and decapitate people who may have connections with its members. The terrorist acts are videotaped and are often posted on secret websites. When one of the videos is intercepted by a reporter, Grimmson learns about these crimes and goes to investigate. Meanwhile, a man named Alexander Suten-Mjdai is arrested and detained while leaving a flight in New York. He transferred a number of his own personal swords, each of them a part of a story involving his ancestors. Suten-Mjdai is caught up in Grimmson's investigation after learning that Suten-Mjadi himself declared him to be a sword master. Since there was no evidence linked to him, Suten-Mjadi was never charged and would soon open up his own school teaching people how to use swords. One of Suten-Mjadi's students was David, a tech savvy young man who is associated with the "Sword Masters" terrorist group. David and Grimmson would soon cross paths during a class, leading to a break in the case. The terror group would soon meet its demise in an ensuing gun battle.

Michael Drakich has written what seems to be the start of many great stories involving Robert Grimmson. Fans of Tom Clancy have often read stories of Jack Ryan. The Robert Grimmson character in my view could be the next Jack Ryan. "Lest the Dew Rust Them" is a great book with a storyline that will keep you guessing on what happens next. Half way through the book, I kept wondering how the "Sword Masters" and Grimmson would cross paths. Worth the read if you are into something suspenseful.
