INDUCED AMNESIA is Tyin's debut novel and has been described as "Sylvia Plath's The Bell jar meets the movie Sixth Sense, " as well as "a darker novel version of the movie Eternal Sunshine Of A Spotless Mind."
Tyin is an advocate of self-empowerment with a Business/Marketing degree and has studied creative writing at the University of Indianapolis. She ran her own company very successfully for 15 years (and has been published in that industry for non-fiction) before selling the business to focus on writing.

Chloe Gunn is in so much pain that even alcohol cannot seem to drown it. It all feels too much for her and she thinks the only solution to her agony is death. A saving grace falls into her lap when she learns about a new research on resetting someone’s core beliefs by inducing amnesia. She decides to be a participant in the said research, but instead of the induced amnesia she was looking forward to, she experiences hallucinations, delusions, confusion and an obsession about a very famous actress who also seems to be having some problems. Induced Amnesia by Tyin C. Krysset is the story of Chloe Gunn and the things she did and underwent to overcome her overwhelming pain and sadness.
This story tackles depression and shows how this illness can really make someone think there is no solution to their problems and make them want to give up. Induced Amnesia by Tyin C. Krysset described the signs and symptoms of this sickness perfectly. It was written with the depressed character in the limelight and what they were feeling and experiencing came across really well. It was sad and painful what they were going through, but it was enlightening and full of acceptance. I liked how the characters were all connected to one another; I also liked how Chloe fought her depression and was able to help someone else in the process. The ending of this story came as a surprise, but I still liked it very much. Overall, it has a very unique plot and interesting characters.
