Author Hafeez Diwan writes a very much needed and timely book in How to Love Obnoxious People – and Why? This material is essential for the time in which one is living. People tend to think they are entitled to benefits and their way. They seem to make people around them upset and frustrated. These Obnoxious People need to learn how to deal with their behavior as well as those who encounter them. “An OP is thus someone who is all about “me, me, me.” OPs are self-centered.” This is a great way to view how OPs will respond. There are many helpful suggestions in the book that will enable the reader to improve in this area themselves, as well as to be able to help others positively. This material is very well thought through and written in a way to make a lasting impact.
Hafeez Diwan desires to help the reader understand how an obnoxious person will respond and how the person being treated in that manner can reply without things going crazy between them. A very well informed and insightful book, this will give the reader strategic ideas of how to better handle those who act in an obnoxious manner. This would be a great tool to use in small group counseling and recovery situations. Can a person overcome this type of personality? Hafeez Diwan said: “Most activities take practice. As with any other skill, we can get better at watching ourselves.” One must not give up; one must keep striving to become a better, more rounded individual.
