Dead Man Rising: From A Watery Grave To A Supernatural Life by Larry Skahill is the fascinating story of the author who was cut in half by a boat's propeller. He shares his near-death experience with readers when, on his way to the hospital, he left his physical body and traveled to the gates of heaven multiple times. He went through numerous reconstructive surgeries and rehabilitation and survived against all odds. His story also reveals how his miraculous survival reinvigorated his faith and changed his life, and how the miracles, healings, and other supernatural events heightened his awareness about the specialness of life. The book also shares Larry's struggle to rebuild his life with just his faith in God. The entire experience left him thankful and peaceful and made him see the beauty around him that was actually missing before his diving accident.
Larry Skahill speaks about remembering his closeness with God while he was floating in the water and facing the ultimate test of his life and his faith. Dead Man Rising is uplifting and the author's story is about his belief in God and getting rid of his negative thoughts.
