B.K. Amodio was born in South Carolina. In 1990, he enlisted in the US Navy for six years. This provided an opportunity for him to serve his country. He traveled overseas on a North Atlantic deployment and two Mediterranean deployments. During his time in the Navy he was awarded the NATO Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment ribbon with a Bronze Star, two Humanitarian Service Medals, a Navy Unit Commendation, the Armed Forces Service Medal and a Southwest Asia Service Medal. In 1996, he left military service and went home and attended college in Columbia, SC where he pursued a degree in Information Technology. He was on the Scholar's List in 1998 and 1999. He was on the Student Honor Roll in 2000. He graduated Cum Laude from college in 2000. After graduating college, he has had a successful fifteen year career in the Information Technology industry.

Coming Savior (A DiujPa Novel) by B.K. Amodio begins with the graphic depiction of a slave being shot by his master. When you are Adsu Gulden -- the former general of Atlantis and heir of Babylon -- you will stop at nothing to achieve your ultimate goal: Ruler of the new world. Captain Nimmo, a former enemy, suffered a "tragic" death and so must Cayce Taylor, a teenage boy who threatens Gulden's acquisition of the DiujPa. But Lilith, a ruthless, shape-shifting creature and Gulden’s lover, can easily devour him whole. But why hasn’t she? The Shumanchi-Chai text foretold about a world on the verge of chaos. Is that why blood-red water is flowing through the rivers, birds are falling from the sky and earthquakes are killing hordes of people?
Coming Savior is a masterfully written novel that reveals B.K. Amodio’s nautical background. I reveled in 406 pages of action with mythical elements and the overarching theme of good versus evil. Amodio is a South Carolina native who enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1990. During his six years of service, he received several prestigious awards including the National Defense Service Medal Sea Service Deployment ribbon and two Humanitarian Service Medals. He graduated cum laude with a degree in information technology in 2000. He volunteers with men’s ministries and various community charities. “Coming Savior” is part of a series of DiujPa novels including “Looming Dragon” (Volume 1) published in 2012 and a subsequent release in 2013. Coming Savior is highly recommended.
