The Sanctum was created to maintain peace and order among the magicals and to make sure that people are none the wiser about them. Ryker and Wyatt are two of the best warriors for the Sanctum. Their next mission is to find and eliminate the hybrid, who was said to be wreaking havoc and killing everyone. When Wyatt found the hybrid, who is simply a girl, he was not able to do the Sanctum’s bidding as before. Instead, he found himself saving and protecting the hybrid, much to the creature’s chagrin. It turns out this hybrid, Dev, is part of a prophecy of the Sanctum, and Wyatt will do anything he can to protect her - even if it means turning his back on everything he knows. Find out how the hybrid and the warrior will fulfill the prophecy in Book One: The Girl (The Sanctum) by Madhuri Blaylock.
This book could possibly be the next big thing, like movies, book deals, awards, and all the other perks. I loved everything about it. Wyatt and Ryker’s interesting dynamics; the war in Central Park, are all totally cool, as is the insanely beautiful hybrid, the magicals, and the New York Academy. I liked the way new characters were introduced flawlessly and the way the story flowed effortlessly. This book is so riveting I wasn’t able to put it down once I started reading it. I was captivated from the first page until the last. And I sure hope that was not the last from Madhuri Blaylock. I am really looking forward to reading more about Wyatt, Ryker, Dev, and all the other characters and their stories.
