Armed for Battle by Bill Vincent is a book that opens believers up to the spiritual warfare they have been thrust into. The author is no stranger to this warfare. This book is exactly what people need to overcome the wiles of the devil. The author goes into detail to make sure readers will walk away with power and deliverance. The author shares many encounters he's had with casting out demons. These visual examples help readers see that power is available through knowledge of the warfare.
Many times people fail to realize that our fight is not against our neighbor. The Bible says, "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds." It also goes on to say, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." This scripture lets us know that we are fighting things that are not seen by natural eyes.
The book is practical with personal experience that allows readers to see the power of God working in a human vessel. Anyone who reads this book will be spiritually ready to move in a place of authority. The author closes with a battle command, which is in itself a prayer. I recommend this book to everyone seeking to fulfill and walk in God's divine will. The author is very knowledgeable on the topic and delivers the message in such a way that no one could miss.
