Along the Pilgrim Pathway: A Treasury of Testimonies and Bible Expositions by Gladys Goldsby Ford is a spiritually uplifting book that is beneficial to readers on their spiritual journey. The book honors the priestly prayers of Jesus and spreads the word of God through personal experiences. The book reiterates the fact that there is a safe place reserved for all those who believe in God and truly love Him. The author has compiled a lot of testimonies and useful expositions in the Bible that readers will find helpful and has put them together in a simple manner, making it easy for everyone to comprehend.
Though the book is esoteric, it will appeal to all readers because the facts, spiritual advice and reasoning are helpful to readers from all walks of life. The heading about the paths you choose in life are inspirational as they define your future. Jeremiah 6:16 admonishes us to “ask for the old paths, where is a good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.” The psalms, scriptures and quotes from the Bible are very profound and uplifting and it will make readers look at life and circumstances with a unique perspective. Another heading that I found relevant for this generation is 'Misery.' It is a type of book that can be used in Bible classes, spiritual reading groups and other groups that work toward spreading the message of God. It is a book I would recommend to readers as it helps enhance their personal growth.
