A date sexually harassed Scarlet Lucas on Halloween day. She was in the office crying and tending to some bruises when her boss, Liam Grayson, found her. Scarlet, dressed as Little Red Riding Hood in her costume, hit it off with Liam, whom she called her Wolf. If only she knew he was indeed a wolf. An office fling turned into something serious when warlocks attacked Liam, leaving him unable to change back from his wolf form into a human. Liam’s mother also forbade his relationship with another human being and turned him out of the pack. Can Scarlet accept his new look, or is there more to her? Will the couple’s relationship survive this tribulation? Read the entire captivating story titled A Little Red by Bethany Maines.
A Little Red by Bethany Maines is the first installment in the Three Colors Trilogy. This fantastic page-turner is a paranormal romance that sizzled, and it excited and riveted me. The beautiful plot, unique storyline, stylish writing, and careful development of the story and characters locked me in for the entire ride. This novel explored love, passion, and magic, laced with relatable humor. Scarlet came across as fragile but could slice her way through a foe’s gut if the occasion called. Aisling exhausted me because she showed that when people cling to power and resist change, that’s when they lose it. And finally, Azure dared to get some honey in her life. I thought she would die a grumpy aunt. Paxton and Liam had my heart like Bethany had my attention. I’d love to read subsequent installments.
