Zeke and Zak Fumble Through A Fairy Long Lesson by Lenora Rodgers is an exciting children's book that follows two fairies named Zeke and Zak. Zeke and Zak are apprenticed to the tooth fairy. But the two fairies aren't very good at their job. Their biggest challenge yet happens when they come face to face with a dog named Marshall. The dog thinks the fairies are bugs and chases them all through the house. The two fairies first want to quit their job, but decide that they won't quit so easily this time. But there's still a dog to worry about...
I really enjoyed Zeke and Zak Fumble Through A Fairy Long Lesson by Lenora Rodgers. It is a fun tale. It has many funny parts that make the reader want to laugh out loud. I was hooked by the first page and I couldn't put the book down. Zeke and Zak are likeable and relatable characters. The book teaches responsibility in a delightful way. I liked how there was a pun in the title. The pictures, by Terry C. Wise, are very well done and depict the scenes vividly. The book has many action scenes that will keep the reader on the edge of their seat. The story shows that responsibility isn't something to be taken lightly and is very important. The book has funny parts, scary parts, and sad parts. I would recommend this to all young readers.
