What is a cajankler? In Virginia K. White's book Would You Like a Copper Colored Cajankler? you will have the chance to find out. White has written a silly alliterative story, full of unusual and fun words. We learn what a cajankler likes and doesn't like. We also learn what they eat and wear and, of course, everything begins with the letter "c". Each section has full-color illustrations that highlight all the crazy actions. After listing the many things that cajanklers do, there is a fun little story, again full of tongue-twisting "c" words. The story ends with the question, "Would you like a copper colored cajankler to come visit you?"
Virginia K White has crammed her alliterative tale full of all sorts of interesting words. Kids will enjoy hearing Would You Like a Copper Colored Cajankler? read out loud because adults are sure to stumble over the tongue twisters. Gaspar Sabater's illustrations are bright and colorful.
