Matheson addresses common issues that Christians encounter today including upsetting and alarming news, the loss of transparency and integrity in society, liberalism, political correctness, and more. She offers advice on how Christians can rise above the prevailing culture and continue steadfastly in their faith. She examines the value of fellowship amongst believers, living a Christ-centered life, and seeking godly wisdom. She warns against self-absorption, anger, conflict, and other behaviors that corrupt the soul. Matheson encourages Christians to be faithful, forgiving, joyful, honest, and devoted in their service.
