Worded Moments of Wandering Moods by Robin Dridge takes you on a journey into the world of the poet. In this collection the poet has penned different types of poetry. From haiku to free verse to prose poetry, it is a nice collection for poetry lovers. The poet covers many aspects that we see and encounter in our lives. Poetry is always an interpretation of what the poet sees and feels. This collection takes you on a ride with poet Robin Dridge and his perspective of life in general. The poems are descriptive with good imagery and are neatly penned.
The poet has covered just not one theme but he takes readers through the observations he has made in his life, the sights and sounds surrounding him. While some of the poems are rich in imagery, others are direct and straight forward. My favorite poem in this collection is 'Where Whip-Poor-Wills Hide'. It is beautifully penned and expressed with some wonderful imagery. 'dridge' is again another wonderful poem with the poet's personal stamp. The poems that come under the spiritual category are good as well. I enjoyed the poem 'Fall Epiphany' and the 'Qs of Faith'. They are profound and speak about the poet's thoughts.
What I liked about this collection is that the poet speaks about diverse topics. All these topics are relevant and concern mankind. Hence, reading these poems makes us think and start looking at life and things around us differently.
