Part 1- Revelations
Jan 2009: Flint Jackson stayed back in the shadows and watched the funeral from a distance. It was a cold snowy day and the only one who might see him there was his sister Jodi. She would demand to know why he did not attend their father’s funeral. His father ruined his life when he was eleven years old and moved the family away from the only girl he ever loved, Jessie Nelson. His sister was a Christian. She had tried to get Flint to change his ways.
July 2010: Jessie Nelson was a new Christian and president of her parents business. She was still struggling with her habits of the past. She woke up in the hospital. She had died but they managed to bring her back. Sitting at her bedside was Gregg Stevens, her brother’s best friend. He knew what Jessie was going through because he was there once himself. He runs a house for those who are struggling with their new life as Christians. He gave Jessie a necklace and explained it had been handed down from his uncle to his dad and on down to new struggling Christians. The crystal pendant is her White Rainbow.
Part II- New Beginnings
July 2011: Two years earlier, Flint had a lifetime of anger bottled up inside. He was out to punish anyone who had wronged him. Now recovering from an automobile accident, he is back in his home town and working towards repairing what and who he had harmed, and making up to Jessie the problems he caused. Jessie has since straightened her life up. Her past had cost her husband and children. She is now a prosperous business woman, can she make up for the time she was high on drugs and ignored her children. Can Flint repair all the harm and wrath that he has place on many and get his own life back on track.
This book captured my attention from the beginning and held it to the last page. The characters are well developed. The plot is perfection. It is easy to recommend this book.
