Everyone has their hopes and dreams. Many of us want to be someone who can change the world and make it a better place to live. As children, opportunities and potential almost seem limitless. What Do You Want to Be? is about a child who shares her dreams with her loving father. Featuring illustrated artwork by Patrick Thelen-Brazier, this short picture book by Tara Pionkowski follows a little girl whose father asks her what she wants to be when she grows up. The child answers that she wants to be like the wind, the rain, and the stars in the night sky. She also reveals her reasons and the ways she can help others. But most of all, she wants to be happy and make her father proud.
