Wanions of the Wicked by Romarin Demetri is the third book in The Supernatural London Underground series. Beginning with a storm, Row and her friends know this is the start of what they have been waiting for. The time has come for them to take down the research lab that housed them years ago, and to save the supernatural people trapped there. While they face their greatest threat yet, each of them faces a new path in life: Row and Audin continue to work on building her immunity to his abilities, Travis finds someone he connect with, Talia slowly puts her plan for revenge into play, Yves struggles to control his powers, and Kit faces the darkness within. As one relationship grows, another is tested while Row and her friends will have to face the horror of their pasts, and an unsuspecting foe could change everything.
Romarin Demetri brings another addictive story of The Supernatural London Underground. Every scene with Yves made me love him more. From the light he brings to the group, to his adorable dialogue (“Really please”), he provided a nice balance. Maybe it's his gift of telepathy or just his nature, but he found easy ways to befriend everyone and never failed to make them smile. Romarin Demetri flawlessly weaves the characters through the story, using both first and third person perspectives. I'm still obsessing over the end with both disbelief and mixed feelings. As with the others, I'm left wanting more of these characters. They're strong, flawed, endearing, and you can't help falling in love with them. Wanions of the Wicked is humorous, romantic, tragic, bittersweet, and addictive.
