Glenn grew up in Chicago glued to the TV watching Dark Shadows every afternoon. In that highly-rated series, it was Barnabas Collins who first ignited Glenn's passion for blood and vampire stories. The more romantic and erotic vampire stories like Dracula and the many films by Hammer set that passion ablaze.
To satisfy Glenn's thirst for more - more blood, seduction, suspense, romance, passion, sex, realism, and of course bite scenes, Glenn set out to write his own flavor of vampire stories.

Vampire Stories and Poems by Glenn Stevens is an interesting collection of stories with vampire and Halloween themes and beautifully crafted poems that are delightful to read. And then there is a story about the vampire teddy-bear that bites as a bonus. Two cheerleaders are invited to a Halloween party, thrown by the Count at Dracula Castle, but they just have not the slightest clue of what awaits them. Karen is babysitting little Johnny, a vampire baby, but vampire babies also get hungry, and Karen can't imagine how strong this baby can be. There are many more such stories, each featuring a twist, and I enjoyed how they are crafted.
Glenn Stevens is a great storyteller and a wonderful poet and has created a collection of stories that are hard to put down. The diction is superb and the writing tight. It takes a lot of skill to create strong plotlines for short stories and this author has that skill, keeping readers engaged with each story. Vampire Stories and Poems has an irresistible appeal for fans of horror and vampire stories. The poems are also exciting, and while they capture strong emotions and scenes, they are also laced with symbolism. Here are lines that are beautifully rhymed and that portray the perfect image of a lost soul:
"Inside this beast lays an empty soul,
feeding his hunger has taken its toll.
For he has no life, no friends, no lovers,
his life is empty, for eternity he suffers."
This collection will delight fans. A must-read for readers who are looking for fast-paced stories to entertain them.
