There's nothing I like better than a good murder mystery. And if it's written by an author I haven't discovered before, and a debut author at that, I'm even more excited. I've found all three in Think Murder by new novelist Cassidy Salem. Follow the story of protagonist Adina Donati, a young woman looking for fun and excitement in the big city of Washington D.C. But when her best friend, Hilary, winds up dead on the floor of the bathroom at one of their regular Wednesday night pub spots, things might be a little more exciting than she ever anticipated. Throw in some potential love interests from the nice detective looking into Hilary's death, the hot guy that's started volunteering at the dog rescue center, and a newly available and interested again ex, and the possibility that she could be the next target of the person who killed Hilary, and you've got one heck of a wild ride.
I so enjoyed this book. Author Cassidy Salem has done a fabulous job in creating an exciting, action-packed, funny and just plain fun read. Her characters are likable and relatable, the scenarios are interesting, and the surroundings are so vividly drawn that you'll feel that you're right there with Adina as she goes through all of her adventures. Any reader who enjoys mysteries, action, or fun thrillers will love Think Murder. I highly recommend this novel, and am certainly looking forward to what Cassidy Salem has in store for her readers.
