For many of us, finding that special someone who makes our life complete in every way is something we want to honor, cherish and share in every way possible. Hence, the marriage ceremony and the celebration of two people becoming one in their love for each other and in their union. Some people prefer the traditional vows outlined in different religious services. Others appreciate the originality of expressing their commitment and their love in their own words. Only, sometimes the love itself is so overwhelming that it leaves us speechless. And we need help. There’s nothing better than a few compact vows to help us express ourselves, to help us declare our love.
Katharine Benelli Coggeshall has created a chapbook, complete with suggested vows and a long list of inspirational words to help the groom or bride–to–be create their own declaration of love and commitment. The Wedding Vows Chapbook is a creative inspiration in itself, providing couples with many different ways of expressing their love, of dedicating themselves to each other. Since marriage is such an important event in so many lives, making it extra special, not just for ourselves, but for our chosen life’s partner, is something we want to honor by using the right words. Like: “When I close my eyes, I still see you. And your voice rests gently in my ear. We will be together always, because today, we unite as one. I am incomplete without you; you are the half that makes me whole.” The sentiments are sincere and well presented in each of the vows in this little book. A great little guide to help love on its way for eternity.
