The Silliest Dragon by Brian Rathbone and Matt Ostrom is a picture book with a rhyming story and a coloring section. The Silliest Dragon is a purple dragon that enjoys being silly and having fun. He loves to play peek-a-boo and his other favorite game, hide and seek. Sometimes he makes a mess and gets in trouble. The dragon never has a sad or blue moment; all his time is filled with joy, even when it is dark, and he falls asleep. The dragon has fun in his dreams. He cannot stop having fun and having a silly smile on his face. The one fact you should always remember about The Silliest Dragon is that he loves you.
The Silliest Dragon is a charming book with the most adorable character. Brian Rathbone and Matt Ostrom did a great job of creating this character. The dragon is purple and fun-loving. The illustrations are attractive and tell the story of The Silliest Dragon perfectly. The last section of the book is my favorite part because it contains coloring pages depicting the dragon in various cute positions and situations. The book can be read as a bedtime story and a coloring book. Two for the price of one; now that is a good bargain. I recommend this book to parents and guardians in need of a new bedtime storybook. Not only do you have fun with your child, but most importantly, your child gets to have a new fun friend, The Silliest Dragon.
