The Relationship Roadmap: The Spiritual Guidebook to Ditch the Uncertainty and Find Clarity in Your Marriage by Kelli Reese is the book that every couple should read, and it will be wonderful to read it together and discuss it. This book gives readers the tools to handle the question that comes up quite often in their relationship — the question of whether they are married to the right person or not. It is no secret that many people invest time and energy on building their professions and careers, but are always scared of looking at their relationship with a keener, more honest set of eyes. They are afraid to travel to the deep recesses of their heart, to face their vulnerabilities, insecurities, and fears, and to navigate their complex inner world to find what makes their relationship work. This book teaches them how to find the courage and the wisdom to embark on a journey that will transform both their spiritual life and marriage.
Kelli Reese writes in a way that forces the reader to pay attention to her, a language that is fluid and limpid, laced with insight and practical tips. I enjoyed how she weaves her personal experience into the message and how the tone addresses readers directly, getting them engaged in the book without coming across as condescending. Although I felt like this book was written for women in marriage, thanks to how the author allows the feminine, spiritual side to reflect in her writing, it is a book that will challenge couples to anchor the roots of their relationships in something deeper, more solid, and lasting. The Relationship Roadmap: The Spiritual Guidebook to Ditch the Uncertainty and Find Clarity in Your Marriage is a spiritual gem, a gift of faith and love that will transform the way we look at marriage.
