The Man Who Only Has One Truth in Him is a collection of poems from Angelos Michalopoulos. These poems seemed almost more like prose, what with the deep descriptions and actual plot happening within most. They are very wordy compared to most collections, but the words mean a great deal. Full of self-reflection and questions about the world, life, and one's own passions, this work has a lot more going on than meets the eye. When you look beneath the surface, I think that anyone can find their own meaning in Angelos' poems and writings.
The messages inside each poem varied, but all reflected a deeply emotional tone that the author used and which really helped gain insight into the author's thoughts and feelings. My favorite poem, if I can choose just one, was number 28. The mirror imagery and general introspection was very real for me and reminds me of some of my own thoughts when I delve deeply into the realms of my own existence.
The language and usage was very colorful and described emotions, situations, and the "plot," if you will, of all the poems greatly. I'm used to poetry that is much less wordy, but I felt that this style of creating poems was very thorough. There is no doubt as to Angelos Michalopoulos' intentions and direction in each piece. The Man Who Only Has One Truth in Him is a very deeply personal collection of poems.
