The Love's Protector Series - Volume One by Cassidy K. O'Connor is a sizzling romance that contains three stories (Awakening Her Desires, The Evolution of Sam, and Finding His Swing). Keara is a warrior in a clan of faeries that support Queen Cliodhana and defend her against the evil Lianhan Shee. Lianhan Shee is a wicked faery who drains men's souls after she seduces them. Keara learns the way of the warrior clan faeries, who seduce men and train them to prepare for their soul mates. Helping to connect men with their actual true love can protect them from Lianhan Shee's evil magic. But Keara must stay strong and not let lust, emotion, or her powers of seduction overcome her duty, because if she gives in and loses self control, Lianhan Shee might just seduce another victim.
This is a sizzling romantic story with an interesting premise that will entice readers of this genre. The idea that faeries can seduce men for good or evil is an interesting concept and is described very well in this tale. The seductions are sexy, well-described, and translate beautifully on the page so that readers are left with vivid pictures in their minds. Even though the scenes are so well described, I was left wanting more, which is the sign of a great writer. Readers will also enjoy the descriptions of the faeries and their fae lifestyle, as this is an interesting and unique twist on a sexy romance.
