The Afterlife by Stephen Paul Chong is a guide to the hereafter and what awaits us all after we die. It touches on heaven's various realms and portals that one will journey through after the inevitable ‘end’. However, there is no real end to life as we only begin a new journey after our time on Earth. Athar, the narrator, takes us on a journey through the afterlife and shares the details and secrets that lie just out of reach. Every human being has access to this information; however, most are just unable to tap into it.
The Afterlife by Stephen Paul Chong is an interesting and thought-provoking book that seeks to enlighten and bring spiritual awakening to the reader. This book is written as both a guide and a story that explains the journey every human being will find themselves taking after death. We all must face the crossing and discover what our life on earth amounted to. I thought this book was very well written and, honestly, I found it extremely absorbing. As someone who was raised within the Christian faith, it was deeply moving and engrossing. It challenges what you as a person believe and also challenges your faith. Overall, this book was wonderfully written and I think it has a lot to offer readers in terms of spirituality. I would recommend this book as it gives the reader food for thought.
