Several governments and major world corporations have secretly melded together in southeastern Arizona to create a machine they hope would help make time travel a reality. Marshall is surprised to be selected to take the machine for a test run, especially when his travel colleagues are much more qualified than him: the dynamic and frosty Marta Hamilton and the clever, alluring Sheila Schuler. When several consequences of time travel begin to surface, like how they could destroy several parallel universes, Marshall and his colleagues must make the right choices and risk losing their lives by going against the greedy corporate bodies that would stop at nothing to make more money. Mike Murphey gives readers an exciting and gripping time quest in Taking Time... a Tale of Physics, Lust and Greed.
When you play with time, the consequences can be costly! It's futuristic, mind-bending, and somewhat tragic. What more could I ask for in a time travel story? Taking Time gave me a unique and impressively creative experience, one that includes parallel universes with reptilian humans and humanistic insects. The storyline is quite intricate and coherent: imagine factoring the age, geographical location, and mindset of the traveler's younger self into the success of a trip to the past. Prepare for heavy language usage, some sexually explicit scenes, and a few violent scenes. In Taking Time, Mike Murphey writes an elaborate story that readers who enjoy time travel, sci-fi, romance, and teenage drama can enjoy. So prepare for an action-packed experience.
